Job summary

OJJ Foods Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a hands-on Warehouse Operative to support daily operations in a deli manufacturing facility. You will receive, store, pick, pack, and dispatch raw materials and finished products while adhering to food safety and workplace safety standards.

Key tasks include FIFO/FEFO practices, stock counts, inventory documentation, and reporting discrepancies. The role requires physical work and ability to work in chill/freeze environments; forklift licence is an advantage

Qualifications

• Ensure cleanliness and proper storage temperatures for chilled or frozen products.

Job description

You will be responsible for supporting the daily warehouse operations of a deli manufacturing facility. This includes receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching raw materials and finished products while ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards. The role requires maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting efficient production and distribution activities.

Responsibilities

• Store goods according to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) inventory practices
• Pack, label, and prepare finished deli products for distribution
• Load and unload goods safely using pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment where required
• Conduct stock counts and assist with regular inventory reconciliation
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems or manual documentation
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damaged goods, or discrepancies to the supervisor
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and maintain proper storage temperatures for chilled or frozen products where applicable
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures, as well as workplace safety regulations
• Support general warehouse operations as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor

Working hours

5 working days (Monday to Friday: 8.30am – 6pm)

Requirements

• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, food manufacturing, or FMCG is an advantage
• Able to perform physical work, including lifting and moving goods
• Basic computer skills for inventory recording and documentation
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to work in chilled and frozen cold-room environments
• Forklift licence is an advantage but not mandatory
