Job summary

Phoenix Contact in Singapore is seeking a warehouse associate to manage inbound and outbound operations, ensuring accurate put-away and order fulfilment.

You will segregate, unpack, label cartons, place into bin locations, maintain 5S, and coordinate with shipping for overseas shipments. Travel between Paya Lebar and Joo Koon is required.

Qualifications

• Completed NITEC or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-year related experience.
• Basic warehouse skills.
• Willing to travel between Paya Lebar and Joo Koon.

Responsibilities

• Segregate incoming packages for put-away/bin-in.
• Unpack cartons to confirm no foreign objects.
• Label standard cartons (1 item per carton) for put-away.
• Put-away items to allocated bin locations.
• Maintain inventory locations and 5S at all times.
• Arrange outbound picking lists by location.
• Pack orders to meet customer requirements.
• Shrink wrap & strap palletized cargo for overseas shipments.
• Handover completed pick lists to shipping team.
• Overtime/weekend work as needed.

Job description

• Put-away/bin-in the items to the allocated bin location.
• Maintain inventory locations to create space for incoming goods.
• Maintain 5S at all times.

Outbound:

• Arrange the picking list according to location to prepare for picking.
• Pack the orders according to customer requirements.
• For overseas shipment, shrink wrap & strap the palletize cargo & place at the outbound area by consignee/company name.
• Handover the completed pick list to the shipping team.
• Maintain 5S at all times.

REQUIREMENT:

• Willing to travel between Paya Lebar and Joo Koon
• Completed NITEC or equivalent
• Minimum 1-year related experience
• Basic warehouse skills
• A team player, diligent and responsible
• Willing to work overtime, on holidays and weekends as and when necessary or as requested
