Qualifications

• Minimum secondary school graduate or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (preferred).
• Basic computer literacy.
• Forklift license and experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily warehouse operations and administrative tasks.
• Manage departments filing needs on daily basis.
• Prepare export shipments via parcel carriers (UPS, FedEx, OHL) and Freight Forwarders.
• Understand and follow Hazmat export rules and procedures (mostly lithium).
• Create and manage export documents to ensure timely delivery of international shipments.
• Accurately pick and pack released orders
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming inventory
• Update and maintain inventory transaction records
• Record all inbound and outbound stock on a daily basis
• Ensure warehouse areas are clean, organized, and maintained
• Conduct regular inventory counts
• Work environment will be split between both office and warehouse environments.

Job Summary

Work Location : 5 Tai Seng Drive

The Warehouse Assistant is a key team member in managing overall satisfaction of department filing needs as well as assistance with shipping goods to International Warehouses, Business Partners and End Customers through shipment accuracy, timely action, and sound follow up under the supervision of Warehouse Manager.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

• Minimum secondary school graduate or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (preferred)
• Basic computer literacy
• Forklift license and experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) (preferred)5 + years' experience in warehouse shipping. required and
• Global Logistics experience a plus. preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Filing methods and procedures
• Oracle skills and experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
