Job summary

HSBC Life in Singapore is seeking a Vice President, Technology Business Management to lead budgeting, forecasting, expenditure control and governance across technology portfolios in a regulated, high‑trust environment. You will partner with Finance, Procurement and senior stakeholders to shape investment cases, drive cost‑efficiency, and provide clear executive reporting through dashboards and briefings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in technology, business, finance, management or related discipline.
• Significant experience in technology management, business management and portfolio management.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders in regulated organisations.
• Strong understanding of technology operating models, governance, budgets and risk management.
• Experience preparing executive reporting and turning complex information into practical recommendations.
• Demonstrable ability to coordinate work across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage technology budgets, forecasts, expenditure, financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Support investment cases, prioritisation, benefits realisation and cost‑efficiency opportunities with Finance and Procurement.
• Establish governance, reporting and decision processes aligned with risk, security and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee technology portfolios, programmes and performance via executive dashboards and reviews.
• Support workforce planning, capacity management, organisational design and supplier risk management.
• Build trusted stakeholder relationships and communicate technology, financial and operational matters clearly.
