Job summary

SMBC Group in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead technology initiatives within Supply Chain Financing. You will oversee end-to-end delivery, coordinate with product, risk, compliance, and operations teams, and work with external vendors to ensure timely execution.

You will manage budgets, timelines, risks, and resources across multiple projects, ensure regulatory and cybersecurity standards are met, drive automation and scalability, and report status and strategic impact

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven working experience in project management, especially IT projects in financial institutions.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies is desirable.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of technology projects (Supply Chain Financing).
• Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Risk, Compliance, Operations) and external vendors to ensure timely and effective execution.
• Manage budgets, timelines, risks, and resources across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Ensure seamless integration of SCF platforms with client systems and internal infrastructure.
• Ensure solutions meet regulatory, cybersecurity, and operational risk standards.
• Drive automation, scalability, and process improvements to support business growth and efficiency.
• Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders on project status, risks, and strategic impact.
