Job summary

The Japan Research Institute, Limited (Singapore Branch) is seeking a VP, Project Manager to lead end-to-end technology projects in Supply Chain Financing. You will coordinate across Product, Risk, Compliance and Operations, while managing budgets, timelines and cross-functional teams.

Strong communication, governance, and experience with Agile/Scrum are essential. Regulatory, cybersecurity, and risk oversight experience is highly valued in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven working experience in project management, especially IT projects in financial institutions.
• PMI/PRINCE II certification is a plus.
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies is desirable.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of technology projects (Supply Chain Financing).
• Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Risk, Compliance, Operations) and external vendors to ensure timely and effective execution.
• Manage budgets, timelines, risks, and resources across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Ensure seamless integration of SCF platforms with client systems and internal infrastructure.
• Ensure solutions meet regulatory, cybersecurity, and operational risk standards.
• Drive automation, scalability, and process improvements to support business growth and efficiency.
• Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders on project status, risks, and strategic impact.
