Job summary

HSBC Life in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Vice President, Strategic Communications & Content to shape and deliver internal and external communications aligned with brand priorities, supporting risk and crisis communications and elevating senior leaders through thought leadership.

The role requires 10+ years in marketing communications within life and health insurance, exceptional writing and storytelling, and strong PowerPoint/visual content skills. Hybrid work arrangement in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in marketing communications within life/health insurance.
• Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills.
• Experience in internal and executive communications, marketing content development, client communication review, awards submissions and pitches.
• Strong presentation and visual communication skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint and other content-design tools.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver internal and external communications aligned with brand priorities.
• Manage media relations, thought leadership and executive profiling.
• Develop press releases, media statements, briefing materials, key messages and Q&As.
• Coordinate awards submissions and recognition with stakeholders.
• Review client-facing communications for consistency with tone of voice and brand standards.
• Support Group Communications including financial reporting and annual report communications.
