Job summary

Defence Collective Singapore Ltd. is seeking a part-time visitor services assistant to create engaging experiences for guests at SAFM. You will represent the museum, build rapport, and guide tours and activities across various stations such as ticketing, F&B, exhibitions, theatre, and interactive games.

The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, strong communication, and the ability to handle diverse audiences with a service-oriented mindset. A positive, energetic team player is ideal.

Qualifications

• Guest-centric and service oriented.
• Enthusiastic in learning & performing a variety of operational and administrative work tasks.
• Patient and tactful when handling challenging situations.
• Enjoys interacting with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Comfortable with speaking to an audience.
• Excellent time-management and prompt in decision-making.
• Fluent in English and another language.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive and engaging experience for all visitors of SAFM, and ensure SAFM’s narrative is preserved and applied during daily operations.
• Represent Singapore Air Force Museum to deliver the best guest experience.
• Build rapport with guests and manage their needs and expectations.
• Engage guests and deliver tour spiels, narrations and explanations on artefacts, exhibits and activities/games.
• Perform operations at various stations such as Ticketing Reception, F&B and Retail, Exhibitions/Galleries, Theatre and Playground.
• Prepare and facilitate indoor/outdoor activities and ensure safe experiences.
• Provide first-level service recovery and assist with ticketing numbers and POS reconciliation.
• Ensure exhibits, facilities and equipment are serviceable through routine checks.
