Job summary

Chinatown Heritage Centre in Singapore is seeking a part-time visitor services assistant to manage ticketing, admissions, and inquiries while maintaining exhibits and ensuring a high standard of customer service. You will work closely with tour guides to coordinate programs and support daily operations.

Ideal candidates have a tourism/hospitality background, are fluent in English, and willing to work morning or afternoon shifts, including public holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and another language preferred.
• Willingness to work four shifts a week including holidays and weekends.
• Background in tourism and hospitality is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage ticketing, merchandising, tour scheduling, and visitor experience at CHC.
• Provide customer service for admissions, bookings, registrations, and inquiries.
• Maintain exhibits and ensure cleanliness and proper condition of all equipment and logistics.
• Coordinate and liaise with tour guides for guided programs.
• Attend required training sessions and updates.
• Handle feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Compile daily reports for Centre Director and Manager.
