About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Executive, Payroll Services to join our Payroll Services team. In this role, you will support the administration and processing of payroll and claims services for various government agencies, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll and claims for multiple government agencies using SAP, in accordance with established policies and SOPs
- Handle payroll activities including salary payments, annual increments, bonuses, AWS, allowances, and statutory contributions
- Process exit cases, including no-pay leave and final salary matters
- Ensure proper certification, verification, and supervisory approval of payroll transactions before payment
- Perform billing for seconded officers and follow up on overpayment recoveries
- Prepare journals and payment vouchers in compliance with SOPs
- Provide timely and professional customer service to service partners and address payroll-related queries
- Conduct independent reviews of work processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and effectiveness
- Support ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned
Requirements
- 1–2 years of payroll or claims processing experience preferred
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource, Accountancy, Finance, or related fields
- Strong attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Knowledge of payroll/HR systems (e.g. SAP, Excelity Payroll, Workday)
- IT savvy with excellent grasp of Microsoft Office and strong appreciation for current and upcoming technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and other tools (e.g. Access, Macros, Power Query, VBA, Tableau, PowerBI)

Additional Information
- Work Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 8.30am – 6.00pm
- Friday: 8.30am – 5.30pm
- Salary Range: $2,500 – $5,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
- Contract Duration: 1 year
