Job summary

Percept Solutions is seeking an experienced QA professional to validate requirements for the Risk Surveillance Platform. You will work with product, design and tech teams to plan test scenarios, write detailed test cases, and drive end-to-end UAT for timely releases.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in testing, digital/UAT experience, and familiarity with Agile. Banking/wealth management exposure is a plus; independent, self-motivated work style is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in testing, preferably in risk/compliance surveillance or data-driven enterprise systems.
• Experience in UAT on digital or client-facing platforms.
• Experience in test automation would be an advantage.
• Experience in writing user stories with acceptance criteria would be an advantage.
• Experience in Banking and wealth management domain.
• Good working experience using JIRA tool.
• Good understanding of Agile principles and testing methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to coordinate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Understand user requirements with business users for Risk Surveillance Platform.
• Collaborate with product, design and tech teams to plan test scenarios and testing schedule.
• Ensure timely delivery of each release, from test case creation to UAT end-to-end testing.
• Analyze results, log defects and prioritize for resolution.
• Perform regression testing to verify existing functionality.
• Communicate open issues and risks to Product & UAT leads.
• Contribute to improving testing processes, tools and methodologies.
• Support test automation strategy for cross-platform UAT as needed.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Work with business users to understand user requirements of the Risk Surveillance Platform as per assigned by Product Owner
• Collaborate closely with our product, design, and tech teams to understand product requirements and new feature specifications to plan test scenarios, testing efforts & schedule
• Ensure the timely delivery of each release cycle for assigned projects, from detailed test case creation to performing end to end testing during the UAT phase
• Analyze test results, identify/log & prioritize defects to tech for issue resolution / defects
• Perform regression testing to ensure that previously developed and tested application still performs as expected
• Communicate to Product & UAT Team Lead on open issues and defects, run book execution progress, and risks
• Participate in the improvement of testing processes, tools and methodologies.
• Support test automation strategy for the product and cross platforms UAT as and when needed

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a testing role, preferably in risk, compliance, surveillance, or other data-driven enterprise systems.
• Experience in UAT on digital or client facing platforms
• Experience in test automation would be an advantage.
• Experience in writing user stories with acceptance criteria would be an advantage.
• Experience in Banking and wealth management domain

• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously.
• Must be independent and self-motivated
