Job summary

SCIENTE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a Software Test Analyst to support UAT and QA activities for a digital banking application.

The role focuses on validating new journeys, features, releases and defect fixes to ensure customer interactions are accurate and aligned with business requirements. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of UAT or software testing experience, with strong skills in test planning, design, execution and regression testing, plus proficiency in JIRA.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years in UAT, system testing or software testing, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Experience with test planning, test case design, execution and regression testing.
• Experience validating end-to-end customer journeys and business requirements.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute UAT for new journeys, features, releases and defect fixes.
• Translate business requirements and customer journeys into test scenarios, test cases and regression packs.
• Validate end-to-end customer journeys, including conversations, screens, content and relevant hand-offs.
• Test responses and interactions for accuracy, consistency, tone, disclosures and appropriate escalation.
• Validate customer data, portfolio information, calculations and product information against approved sources.
• Identify, document and track defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
• Work closely with Product, AI & Data, Technology and business teams to investigate defects and validate fixes.
• Perform regression testing and support pilot testing, production verification and issue triage.
• Maintain test evidence and provide quality updates and release readiness assessments.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in UAT, system testing or software testing, preferably within banking or financial services;
• Strong experience in test planning, test case design, execution and regression testing;
• Experience validating end-to-end customer journeys and business requirements;
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Desired Skill-set

• Experience in digital banking, wealth management or customer-facing applications;
• Exposure to conversational or content-driven digital experiences is an advantage;
• Experience validating customer data, product information, calculations and customer-facing content;
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
