Job summary

PERCEPT SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a QA professional to oversee user acceptance testing and manage migration-related testing activities within financial data projects.

You will lead a team of finance testers, prepare test data and cases, document results, and track blockers, while applying effective testing methodologies and ensuring thorough migration cutovers. Familiarity with data migration and JIRA is essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in software testing.
• Proficient with JIRA.
• Numerate and comfortable with large datasets.
• Familiar with data migration concepts and activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and execution of user acceptance testing.

• Ensure proper documentation of testing activities and test results.
• Track key blocker issues and coordinate with IT for resolutions.
• Adopt testing methodologies to enhance test efficiency.
• Support migration cutover planning and data preparation for migration.
• Coordinate dress rehearsal and actual cutover activities.
• Update communications and manage group email distribution.

Responsibilities:

User Acceptance Test:

• Oversee the planning and execution of user acceptance testing
• Lead a team of finance testers in test data and test cases preparations
• Ensure proper documentation of testing activities and test results
• Track key blocker issues on a timely manner and provide feedback to IT for issue resolution
• Adopting appropriate testing methodologies to enhance test efficiency

System Migration:

• Support migration cutover planning
• Lead a team of finance tester in migration data preparation
• Ensure proper documentation of migration plan
• Coordinate and facilitate dress rehearsal and actual cutover activities.

Other duties:

• Update communication broadcast and decks
• Manning the group email distribution list

Requirements:

• 3 years’ experience in software testing
• JIRA software experience is mandatory
• Numerate and comfortable with working on multiple large datasets
• Familiar with data migration concepts and activities
