Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd seeks a seasoned Mechanical Engineer for a 1-year contract on Jurong Island. The role focuses on developing and maintaining turnaround worklists with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams, and preparing execution plans covering manpower, equipment, tools, logistics and work methodology.

The candidate will conduct site verification, coordinate engineering documents, and support scheduling, readiness reviews, risk assessments and procurement.

Qualifications

• Requires experience in Mechanical Engineering with maintenance background in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industries.
• Outage experience on large-scale plants preferred (>=150,000 labour hours).
• Experience coordinating cross-disciplinary teams and executing turnaround activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain turnaround worklists with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams.
• Prepare turnaround execution plans covering manpower, equipment, tools, logistics and work methodology.
• Coordinate site verification and ensure engineering documents, drawings and procedures are ready for execution.
• Support turnaround scheduling, readiness reviews, risk assessments and procurement activities.
• Coordinate daily turnaround activities and monitor progress, contractor productivity and schedules.
• Identify execution risks, resolve site technical issues and support recovery plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary works across Mechanical, E&I, Civil, Inspection and Operations teams.
• Support shutdown, startup and commissioning activities.
• Support minor CAPEX, reliability improvement and plant modification projects.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, project schedules, costs and close-out.
