Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD on Jurong Island seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a 1-year contract to lead turnaround maintenance. You will develop and maintain turnaround worklists, prepare execution plans, coordinate engineering documents and support scheduling, risk assessments and procurement.

Candidates should have 5+ years in oil & gas maintenance (or 10 years with a Diploma) and two outages >150,000 labor hours; gas plant exposure is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Project is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industries OR a Diploma holder with 10 years’ maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in at least two plant outages of >150,000 labor hours.
• Experience in Gas Plant operations (Gasification/SMR/ASU) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain turnaround worklists with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams.
• Prepare turnaround execution plans covering manpower, equipment, tools, logistics and work methodology.
• Conduct site verification and coordinate engineering documents, drawings and procedures for execution.
• Support turnaround scheduling, readiness reviews, risk assessments and procurement activities.
• Coordinate daily turnaround activities and monitor work progress, contractor productivity and schedules.
• Identify execution risks, resolve site technical issues and support recovery plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary works across Mechanical, E&I, Civil, Inspection and Operations teams.
• Support shutdown, startup and commissioning activities.
• Support minor CAPEX, reliability improvement and plant modification projects.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, project schedules, costs and project close-out.
• Support night shift turnaround execution during the April 2027 outage as assigned.
