Job summary

Skyline Travel and Consulting Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Travel & Visa Consultant to join our client-facing team as a Travel Adviser.

You will assist customers with travel planning, visa documents, bookings and payments while delivering courteous service. Training will be provided to help you become proficient in visa procedures and product offerings. The role emphasizes attention to detail, effective communication in English and Mandarin, and the ability to handle multiple inquiries

Qualifications

• Experience in travel, visa services, hospitality, customer service or sales is advantageous.
• Fresh graduates welcome with good communication and willingness to learn.
• Good English and Mandarin; ability to communicate with diverse customers.
• Careful and detail-oriented, especially with passports and forms.
• Able to handle multiple enquiries and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle walk-in customers, phone calls, WhatsApp, WeChat and online enquiries professionally.
• Assist customers with visa document checking, application form preparation, appointment bookings and relevant procedures.
• Learn visa requirements for destinations such as China, Japan, Korea, Europe, Australia and others.
• Recommend travel packages, hotels, attractions, transport and customized travel arrangements.
• Prepare quotations, itineraries, bookings, and follow-ups.
• Follow up on customer enquiries and convert enquiries into bookings.
• Coordinate with suppliers, hotels, visa centres and overseas partners.
• Handle payments, filing, and daily counter operations.
• Assist with travel product updates and promotional activities when required.
• Provide after-sales support and maintain good customer relationships.

Job Description

We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented and service-minded Travel & Visa Consultant to join our growing team.

This is a customer-facing role involving travel consultation, visa application support, counter sales and customer service.

We welcome candidates with relevant experience in travel, hospitality, visa services, retail sales or customer service. Candidates from other industries with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.

Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle walk-in customers, phone calls, WhatsApp, WeChat and online enquiries professionally.

• Assist customers with visa document checking, application form preparation, appointment bookings and relevant application procedures.

• Learn and keep up to date with visa application requirements for destinations such as China, Japan, Korea, Europe, Australia and other countries.

• Recommend suitable travel packages, hotels, attractions, transport and customized travel arrangements.

• Prepare quotations, itineraries, booking confirmations and customer follow-ups.

• Follow up on customer enquiries and assist in converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.

• Coordinate with suppliers, hotels, visa centres and overseas partners.

• Handle payment collection, document filing, booking records and daily counter operations.

• Assist with travel product updates and promotional activities when required.

• Provide after-sales support and maintain good customer relationships.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in travel, visa services, hospitality, customer service or sales will be an advantage.

• Fresh graduates with good communication skills and a positive learning attitude are welcome.

• Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin to communicate with our English-speaking and Mandarin-speaking customers.

• Careful and detail-oriented, especially when handling passports, application forms, travel dates and customer information.

• Comfortable communicating with customers both face-to-face and through online messaging platforms.

• Able to manage multiple enquiries, prioritize tasks and follow up independently.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new booking and visa application systems.

• Responsible, patient, organized and willing to work as part of a team.

• Interest in travel products, destinations and visa application procedures.
