Job summary

Chan Brothers Travel Pte Ltd invites applications for a Travel Consultant role. You will assist clients in selecting travel options, respond to emails, and process Cruise-related sales while ensuring excellent service.

The ideal candidate is diploma-qualified in travel/business, outgoing, and capable of handling diverse cultures. Weekend work may be required; knowledge of Cruise services is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in travel/business-related field is required.
• Outgoing, friendly personality with excellent customer service.
• Good selling, communication and listening skills.
• Ability to build rapport with people of different ages and cultures.
• Strong interest in histories, geographies, and cultures.
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
• Knowledge of Cruises or tour and travel industry is desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; GDS knowledge is a plus.

6. Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma holder in travel/business related field.

• Enjoy interacting with people; outgoing, friendly and energetic personality with EXCELLENT customer service skills

• Good selling, communication and listening skills

• Have the ability to create a rapport with people of different ages and different cultures

• Strong interest in countries’ histories, geographies, general customs and cultures

• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays

• Computer literate with good knowledge in Microsoft Office

• Those with a working knowledge of Cruises or tour and travel industry is desirable

• Knowledge of GDS is an advantage.
