Job summary

MINDEF, via the Air Force Training Command (AFTC), is seeking a leader to govern training standards and drive excellence. You will design and review the Training and Evaluation Framework and Assessment Framework, while using data analytics to close gaps and improve outcomes.

You will formulate and audit frameworks for Training Institutes, develop measurement tools for training effectiveness, and provide insights into training health trends.

Qualifications

• Education in Training Development, Psychology, Statistical Studies, or related discipline preferred.
• At least 6 years in training development, audits, and quality assurance.
• Proficient in statistical analysis software such as MATLAB, STATA, SPSS, SAS, AMOS, and R.
• Experience developing measurement tools to assess training and instructional effectiveness.
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills, with good communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance of training standards to drive training excellence for AFTC.
• Design, develop, and review the AFTC Training and Evaluation Framework and Assessment Framework.
• Leverage data analytics to support informed decision-making and close gaps.
• Establish and maintain structure of AFTC's executive documents.
• Formulate audit frameworks and manage annual audits on Training Institutes.
• Develop measurement tools to validate training and instructor competencies.
• Conduct data analysis to provide insights and trends on training health status.
• Plan analytics studies to improve training outcomes and optimise effectiveness.
• Drive Organisational Excellence initiatives and support exercises.
