Job summary

ONYX SG PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Trading Operator to join a growing dry bulk trading desk in Singapore.

In a two-person team, you will support end-to-end execution of physical trades, coordinating with traders, suppliers, banks and counterparties to ensure timely settlement. The role focuses on trade documentation, shipping, LC handling, vessel operations and risk control across the trade cycle, offering career progression within a dynamic international trading house.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business or equivalent.
• At least 7 years' experience in Trade Operations for dry bulk commodities.
• Strong knowledge of Letters of Credit (LC) and incoterms.
• Excellent communication to liaise with internal and external stakeholders and counterparties.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end execution of physical dry bulk trades.
• Manage trade lifecycle with emphasis on documentation, shipping, logistics, LC, vessel operations and settlement.
• Own operational matters and identify risks to be mitigated with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with traders, suppliers, banks and counterparties to ensure timely execution.

Our client, a growing trading house with over 25 international offices is currently seeking for a Senior Trading Operator.

As part of a 2-man team, the Senior Trading Operator will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end execution of physical dry bulk commodities trade, working closely with traders, suppliers, banks and counterparties to ensure smooth and timely execution.

The role will cover the full trade lifecycle, with a strong focus on trade documentation, shipping and logistics coordination, Letters of Credit (LC), vessel operations and settlement. The incumbent will be expected to take ownership of operational matters, identifying potential risks and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues throughout the trade cycle.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess at least a Degree in Business or equivalent
• At least 7 years working experience in Trade Operations handling dry bulk commodities
