Job summary

ONYX SG PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Trade Operations Executive to join a 5-person team in Singapore.

You will handle LC drafts, negotiate with banks, prepare letters of indemnity, and monitor cash flows to support trading activity. You will also assist front office with contract reviews, monitor credit limits, and ensure regulatory and internal compliance. • Minimum 4 years working experience in dry-bulk commodities.
• Strong knowledge in UCP 600, Letter of Credit & Negotiation, B/Cs, Bill of Lading (B/L)

Job description

Our client, an established MNC within the commodity trading space with over $1 Billion USD in sales, is currently seeking for a Senior Trade Operations Executive . As part of a 5-man team, the Senior Trade Operations Executive will be responsible for the trading operations which incudes but not limited to preparation of Letter of Credit (LC) draft, leading negotiation with banks, prepare letter of indemnity and monitoring of cashflows. Reporting to the Trade Operations Manager, the incumbent will also support the front office in contract review, monitoring of credit limits and to ensure compliance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess at least a Degree in Business, Finance or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years working experience in dry-bulk commodities
• Strong knowledge in UCP 600, Letter of Credit & Negotiation, B/Cs, Bill of Lading (B/L)
• Great interpersonal and analytical skills
