Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics or related.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in commodities trading / trade operations.
• Experience handling containerized shipments; metals or physical commodities advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Letter of Credit, UCP 600, LC negotiation and Bills of Lading.
• Familiarity with trade documentation, shipping processes and international logistics.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end physical containerized trades.
• Coordinate with traders, customers, suppliers, banks and shipping partners.
• Ensure timely and compliant shipment/documentation.
• Maintain trade records and LC/UCP 600 compliance.
• Monitor shipping processes and international logistics.

As part of a collaborative Trade Operations team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of physical, containerized commodity trades, working closely with traders, customers, suppliers, banks, shipping partners and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely execution.
