Job summary

ONYX SG PTE. LTD. is seeking a Trade Support Officer to assist the trading team through the full trade life cycle, from execution to settlement.

You will work closely with traders and internal stakeholders to ensure trades are captured correctly, contracts are administered, and shipments are executed smoothly across international markets. Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience within a commodities trading house, ideally metals/minerals.
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms, UCP600, ISBP.
• Mandarin fluency required to communicate with Chinese counterparts.

Responsibilities

• Support the trading team across the full trade life cycle, from trade execution through settlement.
• Ensure trades are accurately captured and contracts are properly administered.
• Coordinate and monitor physical shipments across international markets.
• Collaborate with traders and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Job description

Our client, a state-owned company within the commodities sector with over S$2 billion in operating revenue, is seeking for a Trade Support Officer.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Trade Support Officer will support the trading team across the full trade life cycle, from trade execution through to settlement. The role will work closely with traders and internal stakeholders to ensure trades are accurately captured, contracts are properly administered and physical shipments are executed smoothly across international markets.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess at least a Degree in Finance or equivalent
• At least 1 year of working/ internship experience within Commodities trading house (ideally with exposure to metals and minerals)
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms, UCP600, ISBP
• Fluency in Mandarin is required to communicate to Chinese counterparts
