Job summary

TP ICAP Group in Singapore seeks a Support Engineer to maintain stability and performance for a global trading platform. You will support end-to-end operational workflows across regions with a strong focus on incident response and automation.

The role requires deep technical and functional expertise in trading applications, AWS environments, and market data flows. It offers a clear path toward Site Reliability Engineering responsibilities in a fast-paced, distributed setting.

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience supporting front/mid office applications.
• Knowledge of market data flows and pricing mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve escalated production issues using structured troubleshooting, log analysis, and system behaviour diagnostics.
• Monitor the health and performance of global trading applications, responding to alerts across regions.
• Support Start of Day and End of Day processes and environment readiness for global trading cycles.
• Maintain and improve monitoring, dashboards, and alerting for visibility and decision-making.
• Participate in change and release activities, deployment support, validation, and post-change review.
• Coordinate and support major incidents, ensuring clear triage, effective communication, and controlled recovery.
• Analyse recurring incidents to identify systemic issues and reliability improvements.
• Contribute to the evolution toward an SRE-aligned operating model, with resilience and automation.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual operational effort through automation.
• Post-incident reviews with blameless root cause analysis and preventative actions.
