Job summary

JobAlly in Singapore seeks a data and market research focused professional to support trading operations. You will analyze markets, develop models, automate data collection, and improve reporting for ore contracts.

The role involves data entry in ERP/CTRM and assisting compliance matters, with a clear path to junior trader for strong performers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above required.
• Fluent English and Chinese in speech and writing.
• Trade finance, UCP600, ISBP and commodity trading knowledge preferred.
• At least 1 year in trade execution; fresh graduates considered.
• Meticulous, time‑efficient, team capable and adaptable.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; ERP/OA systems helpful.

Job description

• Conduct market research and data analysis.
• Develop and maintain information management models, automate data collection processes, and improve reporting efficiency.
• Participate in and oversee the execution of manganese and chrome ore contracts to ensure accuracy and completeness of execution.
• Complete data entry for internal ERP and CTRM systems.
• Assist in completing all internal compliance management related matters.
• Promising candidates have the possibility to advance to a junior trader.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• As this role requires to liaise with China’s counterparts, strong proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese is required.
• Prior familiarity with trade finance, UCP600, ISBP and commodity trading is preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in trade execution; commodity trading experience is preferred. Fresh graduates may be considered.
• Meticulous and efficient at work. Strong time management skills and strategic work approach. Able to work independently within a team. Strong communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience using ERP and OA systems is preferred.
