Job summary

OLAM GLOBAL AGRI PTE. LTD. is seeking an MBA graduate to lead strategic transformation and operational improvements across trading operations in Singapore. You will coordinate with trading, logistics, finance, risk and supply chain teams to optimize trade execution and drive efficiency.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, advanced Excel and Power BI skills, and the capacity to drive initiatives with regional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic transformation and operational improvement initiatives across trading operations.
• Support optimization of trade execution processes coordinating between trading, logistics, finance, risk and supply chain teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, transparency and scalability across workflows.
• Collaborate with Business Head and regional stakeholders to drive priorities and objectives.
• Analyze trading, logistics and operational data to generate insights for decision-making.
• Develop dashboards, governance reports, KPI scorecards and progress trackers to monitor performance.
• Track Asia Trading P&L, perform variance analysis, and highlight key drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Participate in digitalization, automation, data analytics and operating model enhancement projects.
• Support cross-functional initiatives involving sourcing, contract execution, inventory management, shipping and fulfillment.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and implementing sustainable solutions across the value chain.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor strategic transformation and operational improvement initiatives across trading operations
• Support the optimization of trade execution processes, ensuring seamless coordination between trading, logistics, finance, risk, and supply chain teams
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, transparency, and scalability across operational workflows
• Work closely with the Business Head and regional stakeholders to drive execution of key priorities and business objectives
• Analyze trading, logistics, and operational data to generate insights and support decision-making
• Develop dashboards, governance reports, KPI scorecards, and progress trackers to monitor performance
• Track Asia Trading P&L, perform variance analysis, and highlight key business drivers, risks, and opportunities
• Participate in projects related to digitalization, process automation, data analytics, and operating model enhancement
• Support cross-functional initiatives involving sourcing, contract execution, inventory management, shipping, and customer fulfillment
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and implementing sustainable solutions across the trading value chain

Job Requirements

• MBA graduate with strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution capabilities
• Exposure to commodities, trading, supply chain, logistics, or commercial operations is preferred
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams and geographies
• High ownership mindset, learning agility, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data-driven analysis
• Mandarin proficiency is required as the role involves trading on Chinese exchanges, communicating with Chinese-speaking counterparties, and reading and analyzing market reports published in Mandarin
