Job summary

Maybank Singapore in Singapore seeks a Trade Banking professional to drive growth by acquiring new to bank trade customers and increasing utilization of trade finance products such as FX. You will provide advisory on trade matters and collaborate with BDM/RM to grow mid and long term trade outstanding, sharing product knowledge across SME Banking.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Banking/Finance and 3–5 years' SME banking experience, with strong analytical skills and integrity, and a team

Responsibilities

• Acquire new to bank trade customers through visits with BDMs/RMs and cross-sell trade.
• Assist in servicing newly onboarded trade customers by processing adhoc trade finance requests.
• Drive trade utilization with regular joint visits to build relationships with RM/BDM.
• Proliferate trade product knowledge within SME Banking and share learnings with non-trade BDMs.

Job description

• Drives trade business through collaboration with business segments to acquire new to bank trade customers and also drive trade utilization.
• Provides advisory to new and existing customers on all trade finance matters.
• Work with respective segments to wallet size and cross sell to trade customers eg FX.
• Works with BDM/RM to develop mid and long term strategies to grow trade outstanding from existing to bank customers.
• Collaborates with the business segments (SME+, RSME) to develop joint trade KPI and targeted industries.
• Proliferates competencies in trade product within SME Banking.
• Encourage utilization for newly on-boarded trade customers

Job Responsibilities

1.Acquisition of new to bank trade customers.

• Joint visits with BDMs/RMs to cross sell trade.

Qualifications

Degree in Banking, Business, Finance and related fields.

Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in the SME Banking and related field.

• Strong analytical and implementation skills with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and drive change across a complex organization and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge in Trade Finance and related products eg FX, Corporate investment and Banca.
• Experience in an acquisition or a client relationship role in SME banking.
• Result oriented and focus to achieve the top line numbers.
• A team player with a positive attitude, professionalism and a strong work ethic with high level of integrity and ethics.
