DBS Bank Ltd. is seeking an experienced Trade Finance Operations professional in Singapore to manage daily authorization of import/export transactions, SBLC issuance, and workflow allocation.

You will lead a team, ensure adherence to SOPs, and collaborate cross-functionally with STMO, GTS, and regional units. The role requires deep knowledge of Trade Finance products, regulatory sanctions, and proficient use of SWIFT messaging.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Trade Finance Operations with 2+ years in authorization.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Extensive knowledge in Trade Finance products and regulatory sanction requirements.
• Coach team to ensure SOPs and bank policies are followed.
• Review policies and procedures and identify areas for improvement.
• Exercise sound judgment on transaction monitoring and red flags.
• Strong logical and problem-solving skills.
• Conversant with UCP600, ISBP, URC522, ISP98, URR725 and Incoterms.
• Proficient in SWIFT MT7xx, MT4xx, MT202 and MT103.
• Collaborate with STMO, Regional Trade, Business Units and other stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Manage daily Trade Finance transactions authorization (Import/Export/SBLC issuance).
• Allocate and distribute ready-to-process transactions to processors at start of day.
• Establish duty rosters for processors and authorizers.
• Be customer centric and manage daily workflow to meet client expectations.
• Provide solutions and recommendations on trade finance matters.
• Identify and resolve operational issues and escalate timely.
