Job summary

JNC Line (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a pricing and commercial specialist to negotiate freight rates, craft cost-optimised proposals, and support outbound APAC business with the network. You will price projects, handle spot requests and tender RFQs, and ensure timely responses to sales inquiries.

Plan logistics solutions to meet delivery commitments, implement cost-saving measures, and assist the Trade Manager in overall commercial activities for the assigned service.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years of working experience in the related field.
• Preferably Junior to Executive specializing in purchasing – Corporate, Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Minimum GCE O Level

Responsibilities

• Negotiate freight rates with carriers and feeders to set SOC & COC rates.
• Provide cost-focused, sharp rates within profit guidelines.
• Coordinate with trade teams to develop outbound APAC-to-network services.
• Independently price all projects, including spot requests and tender RFQs from sales across the region.
• Ensure timely responses and quote submissions to all network offices for RFQs and inquiries.
• Plan and schedule logistics solutions to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Implement cost-saving measures to boost company profit by 50%.
• Assist the Trade Manager in overall commercial activities for assigned service.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiation on the freight rates with carriers/ feeders for SOC & COC rate

• Work on cost to provide sharp rates with profit guidelines.

• To coordinate with the respective trade teams in developing the outbound business from APAC to the rest of the network.

• Knowledge & ability to independently handle pricing for all projects, including Spot requests & Tender RFQs generated by sales teams across the region.

• To ensure timely responses and quote submissions to each and every network office for RFQs and business enquiries.

• Plan, schedule and find the best logistics solution to meet customer delivery commitment.

• Carry out cost savings measure and enabled the company to achieve an increase on 50% in profit

• Assist the Trade Manager in overall commercial activities of your assigned service.
