Job summary

PERSOL Singapore is seeking a proactive Tender Specialist to steer RFQ processes for accounts in the logistics sector. You will collaborate with regional teams to ensure timely, compliant tender submissions and deliver pricing analyses that align with market expectations.

You will negotiate rates, analyze bid data, and support post-award transitions while contributing to continuous improvement within the Tender Centre.

Qualifications

• Qualification in logistics, supply chain or business.
• At least 2 years in logistics, pricing or tender management.
• Experience with pricing analysis and cost modelling is a plus.
• Proficiency in BI tools and MS Office is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee RFQ processes for accounts, ensuring timely, high-quality submissions.
• Lead RFQ kick-off calls and align timelines, scope and bid strategy.
• Collaborate with regional teams and stakeholders on compliant tender submissions.
• Analyze and validate rate submissions against market standards and bid objectives.
• Negotiate rates to improve pricing competitiveness while managing risk.
• Perform pricing analyses and drive rate quality improvements to boost win rates.
• Translate customer requirements into pricing and solution documents after tender analysis.
• Maintain tender data records on platforms/databases and monitor results for improvements.
• Support transition to Implementation post-award and SOP setup regarding rates.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives within Tender Centre.
• Carry out any additional duties as directed by management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the RFQ process for all accounts, ensuring submissions are timely and of high quality.
• Facilitate RFQ kick-off calls, aligning stakeholders on timelines, scope, and bid strategy.
• Engage and collaborate with regional teams, account owners, and internal stakeholders to produce compliant and competitive tender submissions.
• Analyze and validate rate submissions to ensure they align with market standards and bid objectives.
• Negotiate rates to enhance pricing competitiveness while managing associated risks.
• Conduct pricing analyses and implement continuous improvements for rate quality to boost win ratios.
• Translate customer requirements into clear pricing and solution documents through thorough analysis of tenders.
• Maintain organized tender data records on relevant platforms and databases.
• Monitor tender results and conduct post-mortem analyses, identifying critical success factors and opportunities for improvement.
• Facilitate a smooth transition to the Implementation team post-award, assisting with SOP setup regarding rates.
• Support ongoing improvement initiatives within the Tender Centre.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Report and Management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in logistics, pricing, or tender management.
• Experience with pricing analysis and cost modelling is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and QlikView is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability in managing RFQs.
• Detail-oriented and results-driven, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Capable of managing multiple RFQs under tight deadlines while effectively communicating with stakeholders.
• Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with regional teams.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
