Job summary

CAREERNEXUS PTE. LTD. invites a skilled Quantity Surveyor to support tendering for civil construction projects in Singapore. You will review drawings and specs, perform quantities take-offs, prepare cost estimates and tender pricing, and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure competitive bids.

Requirements: Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field; 2–3 years tender experience; strong Excel; ability to read drawings; Mandarin proficiency; immediate availability.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of relevant tender or pre-tender quantity surveying experience in the civil construction industry.
• Must have experience in tender preparation, quantity take-off and Bills of Quantities.
• Able to speak Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking subcontractors and suppliers.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to read construction drawings.
• Able to start work immediately / within a short notice is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Check tender drawings, specifications and contract conditions.
• Take off quantities and prepare Bills of Quantities.
• Prepare cost estimates and tender pricing.
• Obtain and compare quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Clarify tender queries and update pricing for addenda.
• Compile and submit tender documents within the deadline.
