Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Quantity Surveyor (Pre-tender) to support tender preparation and cost estimation. You will perform quantity take-offs, prepare BOQs, price tenders, and analyse bids to ensure competitive submissions.

The role requires 2–3 years of relevant QS experience and a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related fields. You will report to the Commercial & Contracts Manager and work at Lavender/Jalan Besar MRT locations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 years in Quantity Surveying, preferably in the Singapore construction industry.
• Experience in pre-tender estimation, quantity take-offs, cost estimation and tender preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Familiarity with preparing Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost breakdowns and tender comparison sheets.

Responsibilities

• Tender & Document Review: examine drawings, specifications, and contract conditions to understand project scope.
• Quantity Take-Off (QTO): measure quantities for materials, labour, equipment, and provisional sums.
• Cost Estimation & Pricing: build detailed cost estimates, apply current market rates, and calculate overheads, contingencies, and profit margins.
• Bill of Quantities (BOQ) Preparation: price the BOQ, ensuring item descriptions align with project specifications.
• Subcontractor & Supplier Sourcing: send out inquiry packages, gather and analyse quotes from sub-contractors and material suppliers.
• Risk Analysis: identify project risks.
• Clarifications & RFIs (Requests for Information): raise technical and commercial queries and handle addendum updates.
• Tender Submission & Reporting: compile the final tender package, ensure compliance with submission deadlines, and prepare tender submission docs for management review.
