Job summary

LINKEDCORP HR CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support tendering and pre-contract work in Singapore. You will review drawings, prepare BOQ and cost estimates, and coordinate with subcontractors to obtain quotes for accurate pricing.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of QS experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently to meet tight tender deadlines. Immediate start is preferred in a dynamic Singapore project environment.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in quantity surveying, construction management, civil engineering or related discipline.
2–3 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in Singapore construction industry.
Experience in pre-tender estimation, quantity take-offs, cost estimation and tender preparation.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and tender documents.
Familiarity with preparing Bills of Quantities, cost breakdowns and tender comparison sheets.

Responsibilities

Examine drawings, specs and contract conditions to understand project scope.
Perform quantity take-offs for materials, labour, equipment and provisional sums.
Build detailed cost estimates, apply current market rates, calculate overheads, contingencies and profit margins.
Prepare or price the Bill of Quantities to align with project specifications.
Source quotes from subcontractors and suppliers, evaluate them.
Identify project risks and raise clarifications/ RFIs as needed.
Compile tender package and ensure timely submission for management review.
