CAREERNEXUS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage tender estimation and pre-tender activities. The role focuses on reviewing drawings, preparing bills of quantities and cost estimates for tender submissions.

You will obtain quotes from subcontractors, compare them, and assemble tender documents for timely submission. Mandarin communication is required to engage Mandarin-speaking suppliers.

Competenze

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of relevant tender estimation or pre-tender quantity surveying experience in the civil construction industry.
• Experience in tender preparation, quantity take-off and Bills of Quantities.
• Mandarin proficiency to communicate with Mandarin-speaking subcontractors and suppliers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reading construction drawings.
• Able to start work immediately / on short notice is advantageous.

Mansioni

• Review tender drawings, specifications and contract terms.
• Measure quantities and prepare Bills of Quantities for tenders.
• Prepare cost estimates and pricing for tender submissions.
• Get quotations from subcontractors and suppliers and compare them.
• Follow up on tender queries, clarifications and addenda.
• Put together the tender documents and submit them on time.
