Job summary

Whale Cloud Singapore Pte. Ltd. is hiring a Business Analyst to support telecom system projects and enhancements. You will bridge customers, business stakeholders and technical teams to translate needs into functional requirements and assist testing, deployment and post-launch operations.

Responsibilities include documenting requirements, coordinating SIT/UAT, data migration, and post-implementation support, with shift-based schedules as needed to align with project needs.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, CS, Engineering, Business or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in business analysis or IT solution delivery.
• Experience with telecommunications BSS, CRM, billing, payments, collections or prepaid services.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements and practical system solutions.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, change requests and production releases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements through stakeholder discussions, workshops and reviews.
• Prepare business requirements documents, functional specifications, process flows and solution documentation.
• Analyse telecoms business processes covering CRM, billing, payments, dunning and prepaid services.
• Assess change requests, identify system impacts and coordinate with solution architects, developers and testers.
• Review existing systems and support data migration planning, mapping and validation.
• Support SIT and UAT, including test scenario prep, defect tracking and resolution.
• Coordinate release activities, cutover, go-live readiness and post-implementation support.
• Investigate production issues and coordinate with technical teams to restore operations.
• Maintain requirements traceability and project documentation throughout delivery.
