Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on assembler to build, repair and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies based on work orders and schematics.

You will perform assembly, troubleshoot, identify errors and ensure safety standards while maintaining data entry for progress and parts. Different shifts include morning, afternoon and night with shift allowances. Prior Nitec/Higher/Nitec or Diploma in engineering preferred; related internship or academic

Qualifications

• Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required or preferred.
• Relevant internship or academic background would be considered.
• Experience with electro-mechanical assembly and testing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components using work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair
• Identify and correct errors
• Observe all safety standards and maintain a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment
• Attend required health and safety training and follow safety and security policies, procedures and practices
• Promptly report accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept
• Utilize test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies and components
• Enter data on computer terminal, such as progress, work expense and labor details
• Perform computer programming, repair or software installs
• Detail finished work, receive parts and perform audits to ensure all necessary parts are available
• Inspect parts for defects and troubleshoot and improve processes

About the role

Utilizes routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, written and/or verbal instructions to build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components. About you

• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Work Arrangements

• AM Shift (7am to 4.30pm)
• PM Shift (4pm to 1.30am) - $25/shift allowance
• Graveyard Shift (11.30PM to 9AM) - $40/shift allowance
• 12 hour Day Shift (7am - 7pm)
• 12 hour Night Shift (7pm - 7am)
• Different work days
