Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an electro-mechanical assembler to build, repair and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies using schematics, wiring diagrams and work orders.

You will troubleshoot, inspect parts for defects and ensure availability of components, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Candidates typically hold Nitec or Higher Nitec or a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Nitec or Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant experience would be advantageous.
• Relevant internship/academic background would be considered.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components using work orders, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair.
• Identify and correct errors, inspect parts for defects and troubleshoot and improve processes.
• Observe all safety standards and maintain a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment.
• Utilize test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies and subassemblies.
• Enter data on computer terminal with progress, work expense and labor details.
• Attend required health and safety training and follow safety policies; report accidents or hazards promptly.
• Detail finished work, receive parts and perform audits to ensure necessary parts are available.

About the role

Utilizes routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, written and/or verbal instructions to build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components. Performs electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair.

Key responsibilities

• Build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components using work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists

• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair

• Identify and correct errors

• Observe all safety standards and maintain a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment

• Attend required health and safety training and follow safety and security policies, procedures and practices

• Promptly report accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept

• Utilize test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies and components

• Enter data on computer terminal, such as progress, work expense and labor details

• Perform computer programming, repair or software installs

• Detail finished work, receive parts and perform audits to ensure all necessary parts are available

• Inspect parts for defects and troubleshoot and improve processes

About you

• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• Relevant experience would be advantageous

• Relevant internship / academic background would be considered

Work Arrangements (shuttle bus available)

• AM Shift (7AM to 4,30PM)

• PM Shift (4PM to 1.30AM) - $25/shift allowance

• Graveyard Shift (11.30PM to 9AM) - $40/shift allowance

• Mon - Fri / Tues - Sat / Sun - Thurs (shift patterns available)
