Job summary

Persol Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a hands-on technician to build, repair and test electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies using schematics, wiring diagrams and work orders. You will perform troubleshooting, identify errors and ensure safety standards throughout manufacturing operations.

The role involves handling test fixtures, measurement tools and vacuum equipment, with attention to data entry and progress logging. Shift allowances and shuttle bus support are provided.

Qualifications

• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant internship / academic background would be considered.
• Relevant experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components using work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair.
• Identify and correct errors.
• Observe all safety standards and maintain a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment.
• Attend required health and safety training and follow safety and security policies, procedures and practices.
• Promptly report accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept.
• Utilize test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies and components.
• Enter data on computer terminal, such as progress, work expense and labor details.
• Perform computer programming, repair or software installs.
• Detail finished work, receive parts and perform audits to ensure all necessary parts are available.
• Inspect parts for defects and troubleshoot and improve processes.

About the role

Utilizes routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, written and/or verbal instructions to build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components. Performs electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair.

Work Arrangements (shuttle bus available)

• AM Shift (7AM to 4,30PM)

• PM Shift (4PM to 1.30AM) - $25/shift allowance

• Graveyard Shift (11.30PM to 9AM) - $40/shift allowance

• Mon - Fri / Tues - Sat / Sun - Thurs (shift patterns available)
