Job summary

Nippon Sanso Singapore Ltd. is seeking a Technician to handle filling of cylindrical and other vessels, perform associated maintenance, and manage inventory to meet production demands.

The role includes ensuring quality checks on materials and products, and strict adherence to safety policies. The position requires a Higher NITEC in Chemical Process Technology or related science, 1–2 years’ relevant experience, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum Higher NITEC education in Chemical Process Technology or its equivalent in science discipline.
• At least 1-2 years’ relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Production: Perform filling for vessels such as Cylinders, Pallets and Tube Trailers and update filling records.
• Maintenance: Carry out corrective & preventive maintenance and support calibration scheduling.
• Inventory Control: Manage raw material stock and generate inventory reports.
• Quality: Conduct quality checks on incoming raw materials and outgoing products; operate analysis tools/equipment.
• Safety: Follow safety policies, wear PPE, and be prepared to work weekends/public holidays as required.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

Production

• Perform filling for vessels such as Cylinders, Pallets and Tube Trailers.
• Conduct all necessary work (Inspection, Vacuuming, Venting, etc) before and after filling.
• Accurately update filling records and production reports.

Maintenance

• Perform corrective & preventive maintenance of equipment within the Plant.
• Work with management team to implement preventive maintenance and schedule calibration of plant equipment.

Inventory Control

• Manage raw material stock to ensure optimum stock for operation and meet customer demand. To trigger resupply If level is low.
• Prepare and generate inventory reports to ensure inventory accuracy.

Quality

• To conduct quality checks on incoming raw materials as well as outgoing products to ensure quality compliance.
• Able to handle analysis tools or equipment such as GCs or Analyzer.

Safety

• Able to adhere to company safety policies and standards i.e. wearing of PPE, Company Safety rules and regulations etc,
• Able to perform duty on weekends and public holidays as and when required.
• Authorized to stop work and report any unsafe acts or conditions, and ensure compliance with all applicable Health and Safety regulations and procedures
• Adhere to established quality, environmental protection, health and safety policies and procedures.
