Job summary

Haw Par Healthcare Limited is seeking a maintenance technician in Singapore to perform routine maintenance on production and packaging machines, attend to breakdowns, and assist in installing new equipment. The role also covers building facilities upkeep and basic safety compliance.

You will work with the engineering team to ensure smooth operations, fix plumbing and wiring issues, and keep fire safety systems and building access secure and reliable.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GMP and ISO Quality Systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• NTC3 in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of production and packaging machines to ensure smooth production.
• Attend to breakdowns of machines and equipment.
• Assist in installation of new machines.
• Perform routine maintenance around building facilities and fix structural damage.
• Repair plumbing and electrical wiring as needed.
• Ensure fire safety equipment is inspected and functional.

1. Production Machines/ Equipment
2. Performing routine maintenance of all production and packaging machines to ensure smooth production.
3. Attending to breakdown of machines and equipment.
4. Assisting the Engineering Executive or Supervisor for installation of new machine.
5. Performing other assigned jobs by superior from time to time.
6. Arranging for monthly approved laboratory to take Trade Effluent Discharge (TED) into Sewer for testing.

1. Building Facilities
2. Performing routine maintenance around the building and fixing structural damage, (such as windows, doors or wall repair.)
3. Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water, leakage, damage and restore full use of water fixtures.
4. Working on damaged electrical wiring whenever a short circuit
5. Maintaining proper buildings facilities by repairing, replacing and installation of new facilities like lighting, new aircon system.
6. Performing routine inspection to building facilities and fire safety equipment
7. Troubleshooting and repairing of building facilities and utilities (i.e. power failure, no water supply, furniture and accessories).
8. Maintaining the building’s security card access system and making sure it is always functioning.

2. Possessing basic knowledge on Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulation under the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
3. Possessing basic Fire Safety regulation under SCDF.

Job Requirements

1. NTC3 in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
2. At least 1year relevant work experiences
3. Knowledge of GMP and ISO Quality Systems
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills
