Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a maintenance technician to perform regular inspection, overhaul, servicing and maintenance of equipment and plant ancillaries. The role includes monitoring spares, trouble-shooting faults with supervision, and ensuring proper documentation of all works.

You will also ensure safety when contractors operate and assist with production, quality control, storage and distribution tasks. Standby duties after hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Higher Nitec/Nitec in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Preferable 2 years and above of relevant experience.

• Monitor essential spares and inform supervisor if replenishment is required.
• Troubleshoot of simple plant equipment faults with supervisor's guidance.
• Ensure and maintain proper filling and documentation of administrative, maintenance and service works.
• Ensure safety in all maintenance and service works carried out by contractors.
• Attend to matters relating to production, quality control, storage and distribution of Town Gas from the Gasworks.
• Perform standby duties after working hours.

Education
