Responsibilities

• Apply surface preparation techniques according to work plans.
• Assist in system testing and commissioning.
• Carry out machinery service and overhauls.
• Conduct operational dry runs to identify errors.
• Document maintenance reports.
• Monitor machinery parameters in marine equipment.

Job description

• Apply surface preparation and/or protection techniques according to work plans and instructions.
• Assist in the conduct of system testing and commissioning.
• Carry out machinery service and overhauls.
• Carry out operational dry runs to identify and mitigate possible errors.
• Carry out troubleshooting to maintain equipment operating levels.
• Check accuracy of functional dynamic components according to work instructions.
• Document maintenance reports containing service and overhaul information.
• Identify job requirements based on manufacturing requirements.
• Monitor day-to-day machinery parameters in marine equipment and systems for alignment to operating ranges.
• Operate manufacturing machinery and tools to manufacture required components.
• Perform marine equipment installation in accordance to assembly workflow and design specifications.
• Select and calibrate tools for production.
• Set up components for surface protection and finishing operations according to job requirements.
• Set up machines for blasting, priming and/or application of paint and other protection media.
• Use appropriate tools for assembly work according to drawings, instructions and workflow plans.
