Job summary

Pearson Carter is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive revenue for high-voltage cable systems and utility projects in the region. The role focuses on technical solutions, client engagement and strategic planning across public and investor-owned utilities.

The ideal candidate holds an Electrical Engineering degree, 2–3 years in HV cable design or related power systems, and strong presentation and negotiation skills. Travel across the region is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
2–3 years in HV cable system design, installation engineering or similar power systems.
Understanding of HV cable systems and installation requirements.
Experience reviewing customer specifications, standards and tender docs.
Able to identify technical risks and develop compliant solutions with engineering.
Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship skills.
Experience with utilities, contractors or major infrastructure customers.
Commercial awareness with project management abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue targets.
Review specifications and tender docs; work with engineering to propose compliant solutions.
Identify opportunities and build relationships with utilities and stakeholders.
Prepare and deliver technical proposals, presentations and solutions.
Provide market intelligence and three-year forecasts for planning.
Organise customer product trainings, meetings and site visits.
Collaborate with engineering, commercial, legal and project teams to deliver projects.
