Job summary

NES GLOBAL PTE. LTD. seeks an Engineering Department Manager to lead and develop HV electrical systems, with HVDC platforms and offshore transmission experience.

The role combines engineering leadership, project execution, and international client engagement. The successful candidate will coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams, manage resources and schedules, ensure compliance with international standards, and mentor engineers across offshore and onshore projects while driving technical

Qualifications

• Extensive international and export project experience.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams across multiple projects.
• Strong capability in customer-facing activities and international business awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Engineering Department across multiple HV projects.
• Manage engineering resources, priorities, workload and technical deliverables.
• Ensure activities comply with project requirements, standards, contracts and schedules.
• Provide technical leadership for HV and HVDC systems, especially offshore.
• Supervise HVDC platforms, converter stations, substations and related systems.
• Review and validate concepts, specs, calculations and drawings.
• Define system architecture and interfaces for complex projects.
• Manage interfaces between electrical, mechanical, control and platform systems.
• Coordinate with customers, partners, suppliers and certification bodies.
• Support tendering, basic design to detailed engineering and commissioning.
• Provide technical support during FAT, installation and commissioning.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Develop engineering methods, procedures and best practices.
• Support recruitment, training and mentoring of engineers.
