Job summary

TALENT TRADER GROUP PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a technical sales engineer to support engineering solutions for commercial and building projects.

You will translate customer needs into practical technical proposals and work with internal teams. Travel to client sites as required, deliver product demonstrations, and train customers. You will build strong relationships with consultants, contractors and developers to identify new project opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in technical sales, application engineering, or similar.
• Experience with building services, HVAC, plumbing, M&E or related industries.

• Understand customer and project requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.

• Conduct site visits and customer meetings as required.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and other documentation to support projects and sales.

• Support customers during the project design, specification, and implementation stages.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for customers and business partners.
• Work closely with internal sales and technical teams to develop solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities.
• Conduct site visits and customer meetings where required.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and other relevant documentation to support project and sales activities.
• Ad hoc duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 - 5 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, system design, or a similar engineering role, preferably within building services, HVAC, plumbing, M&E, water systems, or related engineering industries.
• Good understanding of commercial building systems and engineering applications.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors, developers, or other technical stakeholders.
• Willing to travel for customer meetings and site visits when required.
