Job summary

Based in Kaki Bukit, you will analyze requirements, prepare technical proposals, and coordinate with engineering and vendors to deliver energy-efficient cooling solutions.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience in HVAC, cooling systems, or industrial equipment.
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems such as cooling towers, chillers, heat exchangers.

Responsibilities

• Actively prospect and engage clients to promote and sell HVAC and ATCS solutions; close deals to drive revenue growth.
• Serve as the technical expert for ATCS during client presentations; analyze requirements and propose energy-efficient solutions.
• Manage end-to-end tender processes including site visits and detailed proposals and RFPs.
• Calculate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), select equipment, ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Balance client needs with internal costs to maintain profit margins and competitive pricing.
• Serve as link between client, internal engineering teams, and vendors through pre-sales to project implementation.

Our esteemed client in the Manufacturing industry is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer (HVAC) to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Sales Engineer
• Location: Kaki Bukit
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.30pm
• Salary Package: Basic + Commission

Job Responsibilities

• Actively prospect and engage clients to promote and sell HVAC and ATCS solutions. Close deals and consistently achieve revenue targets to drive market growth.
• Serve as the technical expert for ATCS during client presentations. Analyze technical requirements and recommend tailored, energy-efficient solutions.
• Manage the end-to-end tender process. This includes attending tender briefings, conducting site visits, and preparing highly detailed technical proposals and RFPs.
• Calculate accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), select appropriate equipment, and ensure technical specifications align with project requirements.
• Optimize HVAC solutions to balance client needs with internal cost control, ensuring healthy profit margins and competitive pricing.
• Act as the vital link between the client, internal engineering teams, and external vendors to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to project implementation.

Job Requirements

• At least Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with minimum 1 year of sales experience in HVAC, cooling systems, or industrial equipment.
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems (e.g. cooling towers, chillers, heat exchangers)
• Experience in tendering, proposal preparation, and cost estimation is an advantage
