Job summary

SUMITOMO ELECTRIC ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. seeks a technically skilled sales professional to drive revenue growth across Southeast Asia by leveraging fiber optic cabling and connectivity solutions for hyperscale AI data centers and critical infrastructure.

You will develop new business opportunities, manage key accounts, and translate complex technical requirements into tailored proposals, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and ensure success.

Qualifications

Experience in technical sales within data center or telecom industries.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities applied to sales.
Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Responsibilities

Develop new business opportunities and grow existing accounts to achieve sales targets across Southeast Asia.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, business partners, and internal stakeholders to support business growth.
Support the development and execution of sales strategies.
Prepare detailed proposals, tenders, and quotations tailored to customer requirements.
Gather and analyze customer requirements and feedback to support customer success, enhance products and identify new business opportunities.
Provide pre-sales technical expertise through presentations and product demonstrations.
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
Define product specifications and align technical requirements with customer needs.
Provide post-sales support including coordinating product delivery, conducting customer training, and troubleshooting issues.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers to ensure satisfaction and issue resolution.
