Job summary

AMBITION GROUP SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable engineering program leader to drive end-to-end connector NPI programs, manage cross-functional teams across R&D, tooling, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain, and engage with international customers on technical reviews and documentation.

The role emphasizes leading technical reviews, sampling, audits, program updates, and risk mitigation to ensure readiness for mass production and stable production ramp-up.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 year of relevant experience.
• Experience with Cable Assemblies would be an added advantage.
• Able to start immediately or within short notice.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key technical and program interface for customers, leading technical reviews, sample qualification, audit support, program updates, and resolution of critical technical issues.
• Lead end-to-end connector NPI programs from project planning and prototype builds through engineering validation, pilot production, mass-production launch, and ramp-up.
• Manage key milestones, deliverables, schedules, and program risks.
• Coordinate R&D, tooling, process engineering, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to align resources, priorities, responsibilities, and timelines.
• Support the development and qualification of connector manufacturing processes, including stamping, injection molding, assembly, and testing, ensuring readiness for stable mass production.
• Drive DFM, 2D/3D drawing reviews, tolerance analysis, engineering change implementation, and process optimization to improve manufacturability, quality, and production stability.
• Apply structured engineering and quality methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, FMEA, SPC, DOE, and MSA to resolve yield, reliability, efficiency, and process stability issues.
• Proactively identify and manage technical, schedule, quality, capacity, manufacturing, and supply chain risks.
• Develop mitigation plans and drive issues to timely closure.
• Drive process standardization, lessons learned, project reviews, capability building, continuous improvement, and effective technical documentation.
• Support direct engagement with international customers, including technical discussions, project reviews, issue resolution, and engineering documentation.
• Adhoc tasks and projects as assigned

Education
