Role Description

The Technical Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore, responsible for overseeing the technical planning and delivery of premium events. This role manages end-to-end production workflows, including technical design, vendor coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and on-site execution for events such as product launches, immersive experiences, gala dinners, and conferences. The Technical Production Manager collaborates closely with creative, design, and client teams to translate concepts into feasible technical solutions, ensuring that lighting, audio, video, staging, and special effects meet quality, safety, and sustainability standards. Day-to-day activities include supervising production timelines, managing technical rehearsals, troubleshooting on-site issues, and optimizing production processes to deliver seamless, high-impact experiences. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and partners, negotiating technical services, and continuously improving production practices aligned with the agency’s creative and responsible ethos.

Qualifications

• Strong technical production skills, including experience with event technical design, staging, lighting, audio, video, and integration of immersive technologies.
• Proven production management capabilities, with experience overseeing budgets, timelines, resource allocation, vendor coordination, and on-site operations for complex events.
• Solid project management skills, including planning, risk management, stakeholder communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
• Experience in product development related to event concepts or experiences, including prototyping, technical feasibility assessment, and refinement of production solutions.
• Background in live events, experiential marketing, or luxury brand activations; prior work with creative agencies or high-end productions is highly beneficial.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and with clients.
• Familiarity with sustainable production practices and an interest in integrating responsible solutions into event delivery.
• Relevant degree or diploma in event management, technical production, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
