Job summary

TikTok Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Technical Program Manager to own end-to-end content safety for GenAI products, guiding cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, and Operations.

You will build scalable safety evaluation pipelines and define future-proof safety strategies for new GenAI features. The role requires hands-on AI/ML experience, strong ownership, and the ability to drive complex programs while balancing product goals with safety and risk management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or AI/ML product development in fast-paced environments.
• Hands-on experience with AI systems, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development.
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical programs with ownership and execution rigor.
• Working knowledge of GenAI systems, large language models, and safety challenges.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end content safety for TikTok GenAI products, driving cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, Algo, Policy, and Operations teams.
• Build and scale automated safety evaluation pipelines, and define robust, future-proof safety strategies for GenAI products and new feature launches.
• Use data, model signals, and user feedback to proactively detect, prioritize, and mitigate safety risks, improving system performance and user trust at scale.
• Lead complex technical programs across multiple teams, including roadmap definition, dependency management, execution tracking, and high-quality delivery.
• Influence technical and product direction by bringing clarity to ambiguous problem spaces, making principled trade-offs, and aligning stakeholders without direct authority.
• Leverage AI (e.g., LLM tools, AI-assisted coding, automation workflows) to accelerate development cycles and enhance robustness of safety systems.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver complex, cross‑functional technical programs with strong ownership and execution rigor.
• Working knowledge of GenAI systems, large language models, and key safety or alignment challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong product and data intuition, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive measurable, outcome‑oriented solutions.
