Job description

We are representing an Engineering Consultancy (Professional Service) on a Director-level seniority for the Mechanical Engineering Trade.

• Leadership & Operations Management: Lead and manage the daily operations of the Mechanical Engineering division, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business objectives.
• Project Oversight & Responsibility: Serve as Project Director/Manager and Qualified Person (Mechanical) for key projects, overseeing the entire project life cycle from design to delivery while ensuring cost control, technical quality, and project profitability.
• Business Development & Client Relations: Drive business growth by identifying new project opportunities, securing clients, and fostering strong relationships to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Strategic Planning & Team Development: Collaborate with senior management to assess technical capabilities, plan future growth, and contribute to the achievement of strategic company objectives. Mentor junior engineers to strengthen the team’s technical expertise.
• Technical Advisory & Innovation: Serve as a trusted technical advisor for mechanical systems design and sustainable building services, continuously recommending improvements and identifying necessary software and equipment to support project and engineering needs.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s or Bachelor’s).
• Minimum 10 years of engineering consultancy or professional service firm, with a proven track record in mechanical systems design, development, and delivery.
• Registered Professional Engineer (Mechanical) with the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore)
